Head of Innovation and Business Development

From August 2004 to March 2008 I was working with Utimaco Safeware AG at the headquarters in Frankfurt/Germany.

Utimaco is a leading global vendors of professional solutions for data protection and encryption.

Utimaco is listed at the German stock exchange (Symbol: utig.de) and has a global presence in (Europe, USA and Asia).

In my Role as Head of Innovation and Business Development I was responsible for future products, company strategy, strategic partnerships and M&A.

Other responsibilties included the implementation of an innovation process for future technologies and and intellectually property protection. I was a member of the senior management group and reported to the CEO.

In 2008 the company was sold for over EUR 200m to a leading enterprise security vendor.
