| After over four years experience as an entrepreneur and
CEO I decided to complete my computer science studies. I wrote
my diploma
thesis about "Open Source Business Models” and
graduated as "Diplom-Infomatiker" in 2002 (MSc. Computer
Science, "A"-grade).
In 2002 and 2003 I worked as project manager at the Institute
of Business Informatics at the TU Berlin. I directed several
research projects in the field of IT strategy/mobile security
for the German Ministry of Interior. Having had final responsibility
for the research results, my tasks included supervising more
than 20 project members and handling client relations.
At the Institute of Business Informatics I also started a mobile
technologies research center and advised DaimlerChrysler on
their secure mobile IT strategy.
Additionally, I gave a variety of lectures in the fields of
Entrepreneurship, Open Source Software and Economics.
My publications at the TU Berlin can be found here.
